Peggy Mathews pmathews@envsc.org, FUNDS Consultant. Peggy has 30 years experience working for social and environmental justice organizations in the Southeast. During her 12 years at Community Shares, a statewide federated fund for grassroots social change organizations, she built the organization into the largest social action fund in the Southeast, raising employee payroll deduction pledges for social, economic and environmental justice organizations across the state.  Under her leadership Community Shares grew from raising $6,000 from two workplace campaigns to raising over $310,000 from 90 workplaces.
