Training and Organizational Assistance Eligibility
To be eligible for assistance, a group must to be:
- a multi-issue local, state or regional nonprofit that spends at least 10% of its resources on environmental issues
- an environmental justice or environmental activist organization
- a network or coalition of environmental justice and environmental activist groups
In addition, we are particularly interested in supporting organizations that
- serve low-income people and people of color
- have limited resources (generally budgets under $250,000)
Organizations do not need 501c3 tax-exempt status to be eligible for TOA support. Because our ability to provide funding can be affected by how much money we may have available for specific geographic regions
